It had been the tallest building within the town for one year once its completion in 1927. The building contains the United Artists Theater, the flagship theatre engineered for the United Artists picture studio. The arena was later used as a church by pastors factor Scott and his widow Melissa Scott beneath the name l. A. University Cathedral.
