Tehachapi could be a town incorporated in 1909 set within the Tehachapi Mountains between city and Mojave in Jerome David Kern County, California. Tehachapi is found thirty five miles (56 km) east-southeast of city, at associate degree elevation of three,970 feet (1,210 m).
