Taxco (Taxco American state Alarcón) could be a little town and municipality placed within the Mexican state of Guerrero. The name Taxco is presumably derived from the Nahuatl word tlacheco, which implies “place of the ballgame.” However, one interpretation has the name returning from the word tatzco which implies “where the daddy of the water is,” thanks to the high water close to the city center on Atatzin Mountain. “De Alarcón” is in honor of author Juan Ruiz American state Alarcón WHO was a native of the city. Like several municipalities in central Mexico, the municipality’s coat-of-arms is Associate in Nursing Nahuatl glyptography. This glyptography is within the form of a Mesoamerican ballcourt with rings, players and skulls, derived from the foremost possible supply of Taxco’s name.
