Tahoe town (formerly, Tahoe)is AN unorganized community in alluvial deposit County, California. Tahoe town is found on lake, fourteen miles (22.5 km) southeast of mountain pass. It lies at AN elevation of 6250 feet (1905 m).The site was surveyed in 1863, and Tahoe House was inbuilt 1864.[2] The Tahoe post workplace opened in 1871, closed for a amount in 1896, and adjusted its name to Tahoe town in 1949. The postal code is 96145. Tahoe town is combined with Sunnyside for census functions into Sunnyside-Tahoe town census-designated place (CDP).
