Detail InformationEdit

Svente Manor accommodates both a museum of military vehicles and a hotel. The museum is located in the restored farm house of the counts Plater-Siebergs in the Jaunsvente Manor. The manor also accommodates a hotel.
The exposition consists of World War II tanks (heavyweight tank IS-2 – “Joseph Stalin”, medium-weight tank T-34), combat vehicles (the landing craft BRDM -2, BRDM -1), military transport vehicles (“Villis” – Jeep Willys, GAZ – 67). The Soviet Army military equipment has been restored, and some of the exhibits can be geared. It is possible to go on a tank-ride as well, although it will cost 300 EUR/h.
The guest house is situated in the former manor castle of the counts Plater-Siebergs. Each hotel room bears the name of a different month of the year. The guest house has a sauna, jacuzzi, a gym, the Russian sauna, billiard facilities, and a guarded parking lot.
