Strathcona Park could be a residential neighbourhood within the south-west quadrant of metropolis, Alberta. It’s finite by Bow path to the north, Sarcee path to the east, Strathcona Drive and therefore the community of writer Park to the south and eighty five Street W to the west. Strathcona Park lies within the center of the neighbourhood.
The land was annexed to the town of metropolis in 1956 from the Municipal District of Rocky read. Strathcona Park was established as a neighbourhood in 1980. It’s delineated within the metropolis council by Ward vi representative Richard Pootmans.
In 2006 the neighbourhood had a population of seven,270. Residents during this community had a median house financial gain of $105,139 in 2000, and there have been nine.8% low financial gain residents living within the neighborhood. As of 2000, 20.5% of the residents were immigrants. All buildings were single-family detached homes, and 7.9% of the housing was used for rental.
The community is served by Olympic Heights Elementary public faculty, and by John W. Costello Catholic Elementary parochial school.
