It was named once Charles & Roman Emperor Storrs, 2 brothers WHO supported the University of Connecticut (originally known as the Storrs Agricultural College) by giving the land (170 acres (0.69km2)) and $5,000 in 1871 Storrs may be a census-designated place and a part of the city of Mansfield, Connecticut placed in jap Tolland County. The population was ten,996 at the 2000 census. It’s dominated economically and demographically by the presence of the most field of the University of Connecticut.
