It was named once Charles & national leader Storrs, 2 brothers World Health Organization supported the University of Connecticut (originally referred to as the Storrs Agricultural College) by giving the land (170 acres (0.69km2)) and $5,000 in 1871 Storrs could be a census-designated place and a part of the city of Mansfield, Connecticut situated in japanese Tolland County. The population was ten,996 at the 2000 census. It’s dominated economically and demographically by the presence of the most field of the University of Connecticut.
