Detail InformationEdit
The fortification i Stepina near frysztak was built by the Nazis in 1940-41. It consists of 7 reinforced concrete structures which makes it the biggest group of railway shelters remaining in Poland. It is 386 metres long, 14,5 metres wide at the base and over 7 metres high. The reinforced concrete structure is about 2 metres thick. In 1941 a meeting of Hitler and Mussolini took place there. The shelters were made available to visitors. Reconstructions of the Second World War’s battles take place here.
