This Parish Church is consecrated to St. Rupertus, the patron saint of the diocese Salzburg, and was built in the 13th century. It is a Late Gothic building with Gothic windows and a nave which dates back to 1439. The ceiling fresco by Wolfram Köberl was painted in 1960 and shows the life of the patron saint. In the Sebastian Chapel you find old frescos from 1500.
“Glocknerfriedhof” graveyard near the parish church in Kals/Ködnitz: names of mountaineers who died in accidents are engraved on copper boards.
