Detail InformationEdit

Originally St.Peter´s Church was built in Gothic style with two separate naves. Between 1885 and 1887 the building was remodeled in neo-Gothic style and one nave was removed.
A historical inscription next to the ancient tower is dating back to the years 1494. The remains of the ancient heraldic symbol of Regau have also been noted.
Over the years, the church was remodeled several times, destroyed by fires and looted in the course of the French Invasion.
Today´s beautiful altar, the pulpit and the precious glass windows were added later. One of the most remarkable possessions is the well-preserved statue of Saint Augustinus.
