Detail InformationEdit

The Church first appeared in historical documents in 1318. After the Waldenser Fights, the Church saw extensive augmentation and extension. Above the neo-Gothic high altar you´ll find the year 1434 inscribed. The new building was probably completed in 1523.
The tower you see today is mainly of the year 1833 and was erected with Kremsmünster conglomerates. When the church´s interior was restored in 1981, some fine 16th century murals were exposed and refurbished. What´s more, 40 wedge stones and 12 Apostle´s Crosses were exposed in the course of the same renovation works in the presbytery.
