St. John’s Parish Church is that the 1st church of St. John that’s likely to own been an easy wood building, however its date is unknown. The parish together with St. George, was sculptured out of St. archangel in 1640-1641. however ordered churches were badly broken by the cyclone of 1675, the nice cyclone of 1780, and at last destroyed by the nice Barbados cyclone of 1831. the current church (the fifth) was engineered is 1836, and also the area additional in 1876. it’s the example of the restrained Barbadian version of the Gothic parish church, and a fine looking Westmacott sculpture, observance Elizabeth Pinder, on the left of the most door.
