Detail InformationEdit

St. Anna´s church in Oberthalheim is well worth visiting!
Having been used as a Parish Church over the centuries, St. Anna´s became an affiliate church in 1950. The parsonage now serves as a residence for novices to the Don Bosco order.
The oldest part of the church are the pointed 3-bay choir dating back to the late Gothic period and the 3-bay nave, both of them featuring barrel vaults. In the course of major refurbishments in 1668-71 the nave was altered in Baroque style and extended to its present size. The northern, southern and western facades boast delicate galleries. A Lady Chapel containing a beautiful Farima statue was added to the northern part of the nave.
