Sri Sri Radha Madhavsundara ISKCON temple at Siliguri is one of the largest religious places dedicated to Lord Krishna in north eastern part of India. International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) built and runs this temple. ISKCON, also known as Hare Krishna Movement has close to 50 ISKON temples dedicated to Lord Krishna worldwide. Beautiful idols of Lord Narasimha, Advaita Acharya are placed in the temple. Every year thousands of people attract the temple.

Legend has it that the place where this ISKON temple is built was the Baikunthapur Forest where Lord Krishna went into hiding. Therefore this place holds special place for pilgrims in the state.

Taxi : Taxis are obtainable from the airport to Siliguri, additionally on Darjeeling and Gangtok, although these are expensive. Cheaper choices are available from Siliguri bus station.
Bus : Siliguri is well connected through West Bengal State Road Transport Corporation (WBSRTC) and some private travel services. Siliguri Bus Station is located across the street from the Sher-e-Punjab Hotel on Hill Cart Road (Tenzing Norgay Road).
Train : Siliguri has two important railway stations are Siliguri Junction and New Jalpaiguri Junction and Siliguri Town railway stations.
New Jalpaiguri Junction connects Siliguri with Gauhati/Dibrugarh and other north-east parts of India, Kolkata in the east (actually south of Siliguri), Delhi/Jaipur/Jodhpur/Kashmir, etc. NJP is about a twenty to thirty minute ride from the city center. Some trains pass through both Siliguri Junction and NJP but the majority of the trains pass through only NJP. There New Jalpaiguri Junction is the favored railway station to take a train from Siliguri to any place in India.
Air : Nearest airport is Bagdogra Airport is 14 km from the center of Siliguri and has links with most major Indian cities. Taxis are available from the airport to Siliguri, as well as to Darjeeling and Gangtok, though these are expensive. Cheapest options are available from Siliguri bus station.
Others : Moving in and around Siliguri is reasonable. Cycle-rickshaws, Auto-rickshaws, buses, taxis are simply accessible in almost each region. One will walk round the market place.
