Detail InformationEdit

Calle Alfonso I street, which runs between Plaza del Pilar Square and El Coso street, is not to be missed in Zaragoza. On this pedestrian street you will find cafés, offices, bars, fashion outlets, jewellers… And small, traditional shops where you can buy typical products and souvenirs of the city, such as the much-loved adoquines (sweets) and Aragon fruit (dipped in chocolate), crafts such as ceramics from Teruel and Muel, regional costumes (the famous “trajes de baturro”), or pictures and statues of the Virgen del Pilar, patron saint of the city and the Region of Aragon.
Barely five minutes walk from Alfonso I street you will find another popular area for shopping in Zaragoza – Calle Don Jaime I street, which ends up at the Cathedral, and its adjacent streets. Here, special mention should be made of shops offering youth fashions, accessories, large sizes and ceremonial/fiesta dress.
