The Sottile Theatre may be a theater in downtown Charleston, South geographical area. It’s in hand by the school of Charleston, however several acting corporations place plays on there. It’s 800 seats. It had been in-built the Twenties by prince consort Sottile.
The Theatre was designed by man. Prince consort Sottile, President of pursuit Amusement Company, with construction commencing in 1922. It had been originally named the Gloria Theatre and opened its doors on August twenty, 1927, showing Norma Shearer’s when time of day. With 2,000 seats, the theatre was the most important of its kind within the state of South geographical area.
The Theatre served as each a music hall house and theater and was designed as a smaller example of the good picture palaces of the age.
