Somerset could be a borough in county County, Pennsylvania, u. S.. The population was half dozen,277 at the 2010 census. The borough is encircled by county administrative division. It’s the seat of county County. County is simply off Exit a hundred and ten of the Pennsylvania Turnpike (I-70 and I-76). Consistent with the u. S. Federal agency, the borough contains a total space of two.7 sq. Miles (7.0 km2), all of it land. County has the ninth-highest elevation of cities in Pennsylvania, at 2,190 feet (670 m) higher than water level. The county seat and Uptown county Historic District area unit listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
