Soddy-Daisy may be a town in Hamilton County, Tennessee, u. S.. The population was eleven,530 at the 2000 census. The town was fashioned in 1969 once the communities of Soddy and flower, in conjunction with near developed areas on U.S. Highway 27, united to create Soddy-Daisy. It’s speedily turning into a suburban area of near Chattanooga and is a component of the Chattanooga, Tenn.-Ga. Metropolitan applied math space. Sequoya Nuclear Generating Station is found in Soddy-Daisy. It’s the town of Tennessee politician Basil Marceaux.
Soddy-Daisy has eight schools: Soddy-Daisy highschool, Sequoya High/Technical middle school, Soddy-Daisy Gymnasium, flower grammar school, Soddy Elementary, Falling Water Elementary, and Allen Elementary. In 2009, Soddy-Daisy became the house of Tennessee’s initial out of doors public school, vine Durr Academy.
