Soami Bagh Samadh also known as Dayal Bagh, Agra is one of the significant tourist spots of the city that attracts tourists from all over the world. Soami Bagh Samadh is the mausoleum of Huzur, who was the initiator of the Radhasoami Faith. The construction of the Soami Bagh was commenced in1908 and people believed that the construction of the building will never come to an end. In fact many people argued that the monument is the “next Taj Mahal”. One of the major tourist Attractions of the monument is its carvings in stone that comprises of blending or coloured marble. The marble of the tomb contributes to its brilliant appearance making it an extraordinary monument in India. Soamiji Maharaj purchased Soami Bagh, where he used to perform spiritual practices there. Later on Soami Bagh became the abode to the Samadh of Soamiji Maharaj. Located adjacent to the mausoleum, there is Bhajan Ghar the place where, Soamiji Maharaj carried out the spiritual practices during his lifetime; the Bhajan Ghar also houses Satsang once per day.

Soami Bagh, also known as Dayal Bagh, is the headquarters of the Radhasoami religious sect. This sacred place blessed with the Dayal Bagh Temple is a prime religious attraction and it draws huge flock of devotees everyday all through the year. Set amidst picturesque landscape the temple is a great attraction to many tourists.The temple stands majestically with a 110 ft height structure is believed to be constructed in 1861. This is an imposing structure built in Hindu architectural style and design. There is a belief that this temple is built as a competing structure to Taj Mahal.The headquarters of the Radhasoami Faith is located at Soami Bagh in Agra, India. Soami Bagh was initially purchased by Soamiji Maharaj and He use to stay in the garden, hold Satsang and perform spiritual practices there.Sant Das has said that the current coming from the Sat Desh (the pure spiritual regions) has it’s 1st point of contact with this region on Earth at Soami Bagh.There are a number of Satsang specific buildings on the grounds. The most significant of which is the Samadh of Soamiji Maharaj. This building was started in the time of Maharaj Saheb and is currently under construction at this time. Satsang is held in the lower portion of the Samadh once per day. Bhajan Ghar at Soami Bagh – Agra Adjacent to the Samadh is Bhajan Ghar where Soamiji Maharaj performed the spiritual practices and Satsang is also held once per day.Also on the grounds of Soami Bagh is the home of Babuji Maharaj where Satsang is held twice each day. The descendents of Babuji Maharaj live here to this day.

Taxi : This place of Agra is well connected by road and is easily accessible by taxis. Local taxis are also available at a reasonable rate.

Bus : Bus services in Agra are provide by Agra Municipal Corporation. UP State Road Transport Corporation does run some air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned low-floor buses within Agra which run on specific routes including M G Road.

Train : Agra is a major railway junction and has several railway stations, with the Agra Cantonment Railway station being the main one. Indian Railways connects Agra with all major and minor cities in India. The hired taxi, tempo, cycle-rickshaw and auto-rickshaw will helps tourist to reach her. Prepaid autos and taxis from railway station are easily available.

Air : Agra’s Kheria Airport is located 8 km away from the heart of the city. It will cost about Rs 150 from airport to city by taxi. Agra is connected to Varanasi, Delhi and Khajuraho by air. For other cities, tourists need to take the flight to Delhi. After getting down at Kheria airport taxis and tongas are available at the airport to reach this destination.

Others : Travelling around the town of Agra can be done through a multitude of ways, including electric buses, Tongas, tempos, cycle rickshaws and auto rickshaws.
Cycle Rickshaw:
Cycle rickshaws are available aplenty in the town of Agra. Travelling through a cycle rickshaw can be quite time consuming, although this is a very cheap mode of travel with charges hovering around Rs 5 to 10.
Tonga:
Tongas are horse drawn carriages that run throughout the town. Tonga charges are very low too, and you can opt for a Tonga ride as it is faster than a cycle rickshaw ride. Charges will range around Rs 5 to 15.
Tempo :
Tempos are also available, and these are shared vehicles which can be more comfortable than buses for slightly elevated rates. Tempo rates will vary from Rs 5 to 10. These are a safe mode of travel and can be taken up during night time.
