Simhavalli Tayaru Temple of the Simhachalam Town is at a height of around 800 ft above sea level. It is dedicated to Simhavalli Tayaru and is visited by many tourists on their way to the main Varaha Lakshmi Narasimha Temple. The temple organises rituals, meditation and special offerings during all the Vaishnava festivals. Representing the South Indian architectural style, the walls of the shrine are decorated with paintings and religious inscriptions that date back to pre-medieval and medieval periods.
