A total of 5000 tiles have been used in the construction of this temple.
Displaying a huge statue of the Buddha made with solid gold weighing 90 kilograms and an emerald Buddha embedded with baccarat crystal, there also are beautiful and interesting wall paintings depicted on the walls surrounding the pagoda. During the Khmer Rouge regime this temple was considered to be one of the most important and perfect place of reverence.
