Show Low could be a town in Navajo County, Arizona, us. It lies on the Mogollon Rim in east central Arizona, at Associate in Nursing elevation of vi,400 feet (1,951 m). The town was established in 1870 and incorporated in 1953. In line with 2007 Bureau of the Census estimates, the population was eleven,763.
According to the legend, the town was named when a marathon poker between C.E. Cooley and Marion Clark. The 2 men set there wasn’t enough space for each of them in their settlement. The agreement was to open a recent deck of cards, shuffle them and on the flip of a coin, begin taking turns flipping the cards till one turned over the deuce of clubs, creating Cooley the primary city manager and therefore the name of the city.[citation needed]
In 2002, an outsized fire, the Rodeo-Chediski hearth, vulnerable the town and made Associate in Nursing evacuation. The town is close to in depth forests, and could be a well-liked recreational space.
