Shelton could be a town in Fairfield County, Connecticut, u. S.. The population was thirty-nine,559 at the 2010 census. Shelton was home to 1 of the biggest fire-raising fires within the u. S. History. It happened in 1975 once the Sponge Rubber merchandise plant (formerly closely-held by B.F. Goodrich) was attack hearth.
