Shaukat Mahal and Sadar Manzil are two architectural wonders of Bhopal that worth a visit during Bhopal tour. Shaukat Mahal and Sadar Manzil are situated at the entrance to the Chowk Bazaar area in the heart of the Bhopal city. These two buildings were supposed to be designed by a Frenchman and therefore, display a combination of Asian and Western styles of architecture. The beautiful Shaukat mahal has a large hall that is known as the Sadar Manzil. Sadar Manzil was the Hall of Public Audience during the rule of the princes, and is bordered by Shaukat mahal. Made of red bricks, the structure looks very attractive to tourists.

Bhopal has a large number of auto-rickshaws (rates negotiable) more commonly used and available everywhere in the city. Train : Bhopal Railway Station is a major railhead in Mumbai – Delhi broad gauge. It has connection trains to all major cities in India. Daily Shatabdi expresses shuttle between Bhopal and Delhi.

Air : Bhopal Airport, also known as Raja Bhoj Airport, is 15 km away from the heart of the city. Taxi Cab will charge about Rs 150, one way. Bhopal airport is connected to Mumbai, Indore, Gwalior and Delhi. International flights to Gulf cities like Sharjah and Dubai are operated from Bhopal.
