Curonian Spit
The Curonian Spit may be a ninety eight klick long, thin, arced sand-dune spit that separates the Curonian lake from the Baltic coast. It stretches from the Sambian ground on the south to its northern tip next to a slim strait, across that is that the port town of KlaipÄ—da on the dry land of Lietuva. The northern fifty two klick long stretch of the Curonian Spit ground belongs to Lietuva, whereas the remainder is a component of the Kaliningrad Oblast, Russia. The dimension of the spit varies from a minimum of four hundred m in Russia to a most of three,800 m in Lietuva.
