Serchhip is small town that is situated in the state of Mizoram, in the Serchhip district. The town is a popular tourist place in the region and one can experience different tourist activities here. There are numerous small villages that are located near the town and these are worth visiting as well. Some of the main ones are the Neihloh and Buangpui. The people who live in these quaint little villages are friendly and welcoming. One can get a taste of village life and culture of these people while visiting these places.Some of the other tourist places include a water fall known as Vantawng Khawhltha. The waterfall is situated near the town of Thenzawl and this is also worth visiting while travelling to the region. The waterfall is extremely popular among the locals and it is situated at a distance of around 25 kilometers from the town of Serchhip. The Chhingpui is a stone that has been erected near the village of Chhingchip, which is a small and pristine village. There are many myths and legends surrounding the stone monument. The monument is four kilometers away from the village proper.

By Air : The closest airport is situated in the city of Aizawl and one can reach the place from cities such as Kolkata, Dimpaur, Agartala, Guwahati and Imphal. Three operators provide flight services from these places to the Aizawl Airport. Up on reaching the place, you can opt for a taxi to the town of Serchhip. The travel time is around two hours and taxis cost around Rs 7 per kilometer.
By Train : Lumding Junction is the nearest railway station and is well connected from many parts of the state. From here buses or taxis can be hired for Serchipp.
By BUS : State buses are available from places such as Aizawl, Zobawk, Lunglei, Khumtung and Chhingchip to Serchhip. Buses are cheap and hence extremely crowded. Buses might not be reliable and one has to be prepared for a rough journey.
By Taxi : Taxis and Auto rickshaws are easily available for moving about in the city.
By Other : You can also opt for a maxi cab from different places in the state to the town of Serchhip. Prices vary according to the distance travelled. These are generally shared cabs and are relatively cheaper. However, you have to be prepared to sacrifice on comfort
