The former Second Church of Christ, individual is AN historic Christian Science place of worship settled at park West and West 68th Street on the higher side of Manhattan, the big apple town, among the park West Historic District. The Beaux-Arts building was designed by creator Frederick R. Reformer and made in 1899-1901. The building was renovated starting in 2005 by Sydness Architects that planned to scrub the facade, reinforce the stained-glass windows, and waterproof the copper dome and illuminate the fanlight.
In 2003 Second Church of Christ, individual unified with 1st Church of Christ, Scientist, whose building at 96th Street was later sold to the Crenshaw Christian Center. The unified congregation currently uses the name 1st Church of Christ, Scientist, however worships at the previous Second Church on 68th Street.
