The Schuster Building may be a mixed-use structure at the intersection of Bardstown Road and japanese road within the Highlands space of urban center, Kentucky. Extra to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980 as a “significant example” of Colonial Revival design as applied to industrial buildings, the Schuster building is one amongst Louisville’s most distinguished samples of that vogue.
The Colonial Revival vogue was a part of associate degree rising trend in yankee style at the time the building was completed in 1927, and was later popularized by the restoration of Colonial Williamsburg. Within the years following the completion of the Schuster Building, many distinguished structures within the same vogue were inbuilt urban center, like the University Of urban center Administration Building in 1929, and Norton and Mullins halls of the Southern Baptist system Seminary in 1930.
