In the picturesque little Schubert park is the Art Nouveau fountain, completed in 1909 by the sculptor Wilhelm Jejda. The fountain was erected on the main square on the occasion of the 60-year governance jubilee of Emperor Franz Joseph I. This is why it is also called “Franz Josephsbrunnen”. In 1938 the fountain was moved from the main square to the park.
