Detail InformationEdit

This replication of a Scottish Castle was erected as a residential building by Josef Werndl in 1877. However, Werndl never lived there. The Castle served as space for a Electricity & Industry Exhibition in the year 1884. After Josef Werndl´s death the Castle was owned by his daughter Caroline Baroness Imhof, who lived there. In 1928, the Tirolese Franciscan Community purchased the structure and today is running a boys´ boarding school on the site. A lovely Café is on premises as well.
