Detail InformationEdit

Re-erected mill dating back to the turn of the last century.
This private mill nestles in a place of outstanding natural charm in the upper Mühlbach Valley, not far from the beautiful Waller Chapel. The millstones are driven by a waterwheel and brake wheel.
Even today we still use the same old working methods that have previously been popular. Pay a visit to the Schattleiten mill to learn more about corn grinding! Snacks and light meals are offered to groups by prior arrangement. Round the day off with a stroll along the Kneipp trail or the pilgrims´ trail to the Waller chapel with woodcuts of all the Stations of the Cross to be taken in on the way.
