Santo Tomás Tamazulapan could be a village and municipality within the state of Oaxaca de Juarez, Mexico, set regarding a hundred and five kilometer south of Oaxaca de Juarez town. It is 1,700 meters on top of water level, and is a component of the Miahuatlán District within the south of the Sierra city Region. Its name comes from the saint of the city (Saint Thomas) and also the last half is from Náhuatl that means “in the stream of frogs”. It’s unknown once the city was based.Its main attraction is that the Parroquia Diamond State Santa María Diamond State la Natividad (Parish of mother|The Virgin|Blessed Virgin|Madonna|Jewess|mother|female parent} Mary of the Nativity) church, that was created within the seventeenth century. It contains associate degree screen (retablo) of extraordinary size.The village was one in all the hosts of the Sixth International Organ and Early Music competition in 2006 sponsored by the Instituto Diamond State Órganos Históricos Diamond State Oaxaca de Juarez (Institute of Historic Organs of Oaxaca de Juarez) in conjunction with Oaxaca town, Zautla, San Jerónimo Tlacochahuaya, Tlaxiaco and national capital Yanhuitlán. Close is that the Balneario Atonaltzin, a series of sulfur springs.
