Sandugo Shrine is a one of the most historically significant sites in Bohol perhaps the entire Visayas region. It is said this is the place where Miguel Lopez de Legazpi and Rajah Sikatuna made a treaty for a pact of friendship. Now, visitors can find the statues of Miguel Lopez de Legazpi and Rajah Sikatuna along with few witnesses.
These statues are made up of bronze and are created by the national artist Napoleon Abueva. The site is very well complimented with the very beautiful backdrop of natural views. This is a great place to visit if you want to known about the history of the area.
