Sandspit is the largest community on Moresby Island, in Haida Gwaii off the Pacific coast of British Columbia, Canada. This community is serviced by Sandspit Airport with flights to Vancouver. Climate in Sandspit is oceanic and very similar to the climate of Scotland in terms of average temperatures. However, when compared to major cities of Scotland such as Aberdeen or Edinburgh, we see almost double the amount of precipitation in Sandspit.
