San Antonio Tecómitl is one amongst the twelve villages that comprise the Milpa Alta, Mexico City, Mexico. The toponymy of the city, of Nahuatl origin, comes from the word Tecom, and argues that it’s the adulteration of Tecomic, itself consisting of the words tetl-stone, comitl-pot and Co. So means that, “The Pot of Stone.”In the year 1140, settled during this land nowadays Milpa Alta Chichimecas the 9 tribes from the previous Amaquemecan (from the book “Foundations of the peoples of Malachtepec Momozco”, 1953).
