Samuel S. Fleisher Art Memorial, additionally called Church of the Evangelists and St. Martin’s faculty for destitute Boys, may be a set of 4 buildings with a history that unites idealism or non secular beliefs, service to the poor, and art. The four buildings embody a belfry in-built 1857, a basilica designed 1884-1886, St. Martin’s faculty in-built 1906, and 2 rowhouses in-built the decennary. Since Fleisher’s death in 1944, his trust, that owns the buildings, has been administered by the Philadelphia depository Of Art.
