The Salem United Church of Christ, glorious in previous generations because the Salem German Evangelical Reformed Church or Deutsche Evangelisch Reformierte Salems Kirche, is found at 1425 Sycamore Street within the Over-the-Rhine neighborhood of Cincinnati, Ohio. The church holds membership within the United Church of Christ, the successor to the German Reformed tradition.This church was made in 1867 and services were command in German till the Thirties. The previous German name of this church is carven over the front entrance on Sycamore Street.The church has been the house to Gabriel’s Corner and grasp Theatre of Cincinnati.Salem United Church of Christ may be a contributory property to the Over-the-Rhine Historic District, that was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.
