Detail InformationEdit

The late-Gothic Parish Church is dedicated to Saint Peter and first appeared in historical records in the year 1130.
An extensive program of interior restoration and improvement was undertaken in 1956. Medieval wall paintings, depicting the symbols of the four Evangelists and Veronica´s Veil as well as elaborate frescoes dating back to the year 1524, were then exposed and restored. Rich ornamental decorations were found at the chancel´s vault and a fresco painting of Saint George was exposed on the northern side. A new painting of Saint Christopher was added to the southern side to create a matching piece.
