Detail InformationEdit

The Parish Church of Meggenhofen was erected around 1130 AD and is dedicated to Saint Martin. The Church you see today is a late Gothic structure that dates back to the 14th century.
The original ribbed vaults were removed and the Gothic style altars were substituted by Baroque ones, created by master carpenter Gregor Derschl from Aistersheim. The vicarage was built in 1740 on a tiny hill off the church. The bells are from the 16th century.
