Detail InformationEdit
Pfaffing´s little church ranks among the oldest buildings within the district of Vocklabruck. The Romanesque church walls are dating back to the years between 1050 and 1150. During the Gothic period in the 15th century the western part of the building had been enlarged. And in 1631 Baroque elements were added to the exterior. In 1631 the church first appeared in historical documents.
Even a new church tower was built and the interior was reconstructed in Baroque style. The Parish Church of Pfaffing is dedicated to Saint Margaret. Over the years the precious little church decayed but in 1999 the inhabitants of Pfaffing renovated and reconstructed the cultural treasure with much love to the detail.
