Ruins of Miraflores is an archeological site located in a remote zone of the Calca area in the Cusco region, in Perù. Explorers that discovered Miraflores indicated that it was utilized as an agricultural and ceremonial center.At 8277 ft. Above sea level, on the Miraflores mountain of the Paucartambo range (Andes mountain range), near the Chunchusmayo river. The area of the ruins is 2 hectare.
Official discovery occurred 28 September 2011, by a group of independent Peruvian and foreign researchers. They were: Gregory Deyermenjian, (United States of America), Ignacio Mamani Huilca and Alberto Huillca Mamani, (Perú), Yuri Leveratto, (Italy) and Javier Zardoya (Spain).
