The Little Town Rovensko pod Troskami is known by its unique wooden belfry from the 17th century. The so-called “Rebel” bells are named after the Czech saints St. Wenceslas, St. John the Baptist and St. George. The biggest bell weighs 2,4 tons. Across the belfry is the Church of St. Wenceslas, founded in the mid-14th century. From that time a presbytery was preserved and in the 16th century a nave was attached to it. The oldest sight of the church is the Renaissance tomb of Jindřich Smiřicky of Smiřice from 1569.
