Toward the center of the decennium, King came back to make a mill that will presently become the most important in North Georgia town Mill. He brought with him thirty six African Slaves from his own coastal plantation, and another forty two mean carpenter slaves bought in Savannah to make the mills. The slaves designed the mills, infrastructure, houses, mill employee flats, and supporting buildings for the populated area. The Africans brought their distinctive Geechee culture, language, and non secular traditions from the coast to north Geo.
