The origin of the name Rosedale isn’t documented with certainty. However, a 1950 fourth grade category was told to interview family and friends concerning the history of the Rosedale community. From that activity came an evidence. Rosedale is associate unorganized community and a census-designated place in urban center County, Maryland, u. s.. The population was nineteen,199 at the 2000 census. Rosedale, a community northeast of town of urban center, was a farming community from the time of the primary settlers till residential area development began once warfare II. State Route seven, that runs through the community, carried President to ny in 1789 wherever he was inaugurated because the first yankee president.
