The Roosevelt Arch is that the north entrance to Yellowstone River parkland in historian, Montana. The arch’s cornerstone was ordered down by President of the u. S. United States President in 1903. The highest of the arch is inscribed with a quote from the Organic Act of 1872, the legislation that created Yellowstone River, that reads “For the profit and delight of the folks.”
Before 1903, trains brought guests to Cinnabar, Montana, that was a number of miles northwest of historian, Montana, wherever folks would transfer onto equid coaches to enter the park. In 1903, the railway finally came to historian, and other people entered through the stone entry.
