Description: The church of Hollókő is first mentioned in documents in 1342. It was reconstructed with the help of public contributions in 1889. The tower, a masterpiece of Palots carpentry, was built without using one single nail. There is a patriarchal cross on top of the church which indicates that Hollókő has pontifical privileges.
