Rolling Meadows is a town in Cook County, Illinois, us. The population was twenty four,607 at the 2000 census. Rolling Meadows is found in Cook County and is twenty four miles (39km) nor’-west of the Loop. In 1836 Orrin Ford became the primary possessor within the space that’s currently Rolling Meadows, staking his claim of one hundred sixty acres (0.65km2) within the tranquil forests and gently rolling parcel of a neighborhood called Plum Grove. Different farm families followed, several traveling from Vermont. By the first decennary settlers had engineered a dam across Salt Creek and had set claim to the complete Plum Grove space.
