Detail InformationEdit

The palace in Rokosowo near Leszno, because of its appearance sometimes called a castle, is a great example of a residential edifice erected according to the mid-19th century fashion. It was built in 1847 by Fryderyk August Stüller for count Mycielski, in a truly medieval fashion. Until today, not only a three-storey body of the castle but also huge towers which flank it are quite impressive. After the Mycielskis, in 1867 Rokosowo went into the hands of the Czartoryskis and remained their property until the outbreak of the WW2. Today the castle, surrounded by a 10-hectare beautiful park, hosts the European Integration Centre of the Marshall’s Office in Wielkopolska Province but also other, various conferences and events take place here. The hotel in the castle is disabled-friendly.
