Roddickton may be a city set north west of Meelpaeg Lake. Roddickton was originally named Easter Brook and was utilized by residents of Englee, alittle fishing community for salmon fishing, looking and housings. In 1906, the Grenfell Mission began a sawmill operation here and also the name was modified to Roddickton in honour of Thomas St. George Roddick, a supporter of the mission.
